EVACUATION
Evacuation Training
Our expert trainers have a broad knowledge across all types of businesses, industries and buildings. We have specialist trainers in the Aged Care Industry supplying training, knowledge and services for over 20 years to some of the largest Aged Care Providers in Australia.
We can design and implement a site specific comprehensive full colour Power Point presentation depending on the size of your staff and business location. Including photographs, plans and information with direct reference to your particular fire equipment, site layout, evacuation paths, assembly areas etc. To ensure all your staff, both verbally hear and visually see, know and understand their workplace responsibilities regarding safety. These presentations exceed the "generic" presentations presented by less qualified providers.
Evacuation Exercises
All building occupants (as required by Australian Standards 3745-2010) must participate in regular evacuation exercises. These exercises, when correctly and efficiently coordinated, can be the catalyst to save lives. They greatly enhanced the effectiveness of both the general Evacuation Training and Warden and Eco Training. Trial Evacuation brings together all the elements provided by the qualified Safety Trainer to the participants and E.C.O. members into a 'real world, real time" scenario which tests the knowledge, procedures, time frames and outcomes, prior to their use in a real emergency.
Safety Inductions can customise, organise, perform and monitor these exercises. We check the effectiveness, performance of occupants, E.C.O. Members and time frames for a safe and expedient evacuation. Briefings are delivered prior to Trial Evacuations and the professional Safety Inductions Trainers will guide participants before, during and after evacuation practices.
Debriefings are always carried out at the conclusion of each Evacuation Trial with both participants and separately with E.C.O. Members. Management (E.C.O.) are able to discuss any issues and the effectiveness of the evacuation. A written report detailing the success and any deficiencies detected is provided together with any possible procedural changes, advice and recommendations.
Manuals and Evacuation Diagrams
An important component of any Emergency Management System is the development and implementation of written documentation of Emergency Procedures. This is a legislated requirement for all emergency management systems and includes the development and implementation of a site specific Emergency Procedures Manual and site specific Emergency Evacuation Diagrams. These manuals and diagrams are a complex and integral part of any emergency management plan.
Safety Inductions has highly trained professionals with years of expertise and experience in the formulation of both manuals and compliant Fire Evacuation Diagrams. Our Compliance Officers can design and create site specific, up to date emergency procedures and manuals. Our experienced Draftsmen produce clear, precise and compliant evacuation diagrams for any size or type of business, warehouse or building facility. From single offices and small factories to high rise buildings and large scale factory complexes. No site of business is too big or small.
We also have extensive experience in the production of Emergency Procedure Manuals and diagrams for hospital and Aged Care Facilities, servicing some of the largest and well known Aged Care Providers in Australia.
